In our mountain grove, olive trees that are hundreds — even thousands — of years old have learned to endure drought, steep terrain, and the harshness of the climate.
Our way of life is deeply connected to this traditional olive grove; our relationship with the olive tree is direct, real, and part of our daily life. We are not a large company—we are people who live in close contact with the land and who see olive oil not only as an exceptional product but as a culture to be passed on and protected. A culture we don’t want to lose.
VIRENS was born out of a commitment to both health and territory. It is driven by the non-profit association Olea Sylvestris, which is dedicated to protecting mountain olive groves and promoting local products.

VIRENS is crafted at the El Manzanillo mill, which has over twenty years of experience in producing and marketing high-quality extra virgin olive oils.
